Class Description

This is an introduction to Ashtanga. This class follows the Half Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga, a traditional and steady sequence designed to build strength, flexibility, and focus through breath-led movement. These classes are a 45 minute class, however, after 4 weeks, will increase to 90 minute classes. The practice links each posture with a breath, creating heat in the body while encouraging deep concentration and presence. You’ll move through sun salutations, standing postures, seated poses, and a closing sequence, cultivating stability, rhythm, and a strong connection to your breath. This is a guided class, with clear cues and space to work at your own pace. While the sequence remains consistent, options and modifications are offered to support your individual body and practice. Over time, repetition allows the body to open gradually and the mind to settle, turning the practice into a moving meditation. Ideal for those who enjoy structure, challenge, and consistency, and for anyone curious about the traditional roots of yoga while practicing in a supportive, welcoming environment.

You will be able to reschedule your class up to 12 hours before your class begins. Out with this time, you will lose the space. This cannot be amended. No shows may incur additional fees. Thank you.
